Conceived on the golden sands of Mills Beach, Mornington Australia, Hazardous Fluids is a specialty beverage company, focused on serving athletes that view training and competition as a lifestyle.

As a veteran of the international motorsport community, company Vice President Damon Hill’s unique relationships with elite athletes made him aware of the need for a “ready to drink” beverage, rich in ingredients that efficiently deliver key nutrients to the body, and void of artificial "energy" sources and undesirable side effects. In turning his acute attention to the unique performance requirements of these athletes, Hill realized these needs are largely overlooked by other “sports” and “energy” drink manufacturers.

"To address the needs of professional athletes who function in extreme and dangerous conditions, we have designed a fluid which aims to support mental acuity, sensory control, internal systems management and hydration," said Hill, a native of New Zealand.

In addition to the basic hydration and endurance concerns, a number of high profile athletes have published the challenge of dealing with pre-event adrenaline while maintaining a relaxed composure being of high importance.

"Our challenge was to design a range of specialized beverages which promote the natural optimized balance of the 'fluid' assets of the body." said Hill. The optimization of these elements is crucial to ensure the highest level of athletic performance.

In responding to this challenge, Hazardous Fluids resolved to engage one of Australia's most respected sports supplement beverage designers to establish the profile of the company’s first product offering. Sportsdrink+ Bodily Fluids was born.
